All previous trades in delivery (CNC) segment have 0 brokerage correctly.
I had 105 shares of a company in my demat account.
I sold the 105 shares which I already hold on Thursday morning in CNC.
But in the evening same day, I decided to buy back 79 shares (again in CNC) of same company.
Today I saw the contract note and it shows 40 brokerage.
According to this Brokerage calculator – Zerodha my understanding is this case would be 2nd column (‘Delivery equity’) which does already allow for a buy and sell and shows brokerage 0.
Why was I charged brokerage in this case? Thanks.
